George Diamantoni, Chief Executive Officer, Manager and Chairman of the Board

George Diamantoni is currently the Chief Executive Officer, Manager and Chairman of the Board to Hip Innovation Technology, LLC. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Joint Innovation Technology, LLC, which is the holder of the majority of the Class A Membership Interests of the Company for which he provides executive leadership. Mr. Diamantoni has over 25 years of professional experience in the health care industry, including 20 years with The Upjohn Company, Pharmacia Corporation, Pfizer Inc., and Schering Plough Corporation, multinational pharmaceutical corporations, and 5 years with Allos Therapeutics, Inc., an oncology company; and Bone Care International, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company. Mr. Diamantoni has previously served as a consulting Partner for Direkt Finance, a privately held international investment firm. In this position, he established and led a health care-focused investment division. Mr. Diamantoni has held the offices of Vice President for Government Affairs, Strategic Alliances, Reimbursement and Managed Accounts, Customer Marketing, and Sales with his previous employers. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

David Bassin

David Bassin has approximately 20 years of experience in the Healthcare industry. Mr. Bassin is currently Chief Executive Officer of Healogics, Inc. - the leading provider of wound care services in the US. Mr. Bassin joined Healogics as the Chief Financial Officer in 2016. Prior to joining Healogics, David was the CFO for private equity backed eviCore Healthcare where he successful completed the sale of MedSolutions (also private equity backed) to eviCore. Mr. Bassin was CFO of MedSolutions prior to the sale and led the financial organization and integration post transaction. Prior to joining MedSolutions, Mr. Bassin spent over 10 years at inVentiv Health, Inc, a public company at the time, where he held a variety of financial leadership roles including Chief Financial Officer through the go-private sale of the company in August 2010 to Thomas H. Lee. As a CFO, Mr. Bassin has been responsible for accounting, financial reporting, pricing/underwriting, risk management, corporate development, integration, and human resources. Mr. Bassin earned a bachelor's degree in economics and business from Lafayette College and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

David S. Blatteis

David S. Blatteis is a member of the law firm of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A. and its Business Law Group and he is also the Chair of the NM&M Pharma Service Group. He has extensive transactional experience in the areas of general business law, pharmaceutical and health care, mergers and acquisitions, financing and securities. He handles many significant transactions in the pharmaceutical, health care and manufacturing industries. Mr. Blatteis represents leading health care service organizations that provide sales, marketing, technology and compliance solutions to global pharmaceutical companies. For these clients, he negotiates and prepares major outsourced sales team, promotional, risk-share, sales force, automation, technology and joint venture agreements. These clients utilize Mr. Blatteis’s extensive experience negotiating contracts, his understanding of a complex health care compliance and regulatory environment (including state and federal health care laws), and his years of experience working with in-house counsel. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and Florida. He earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the American University, Washington College of Law in 1992 and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Legal Studies, cum laude, from Brandeis University in 1989.

James Caruso

James Caruso is a Senior Life Sciences Executive with a 27 year record of success with medical device start-up, mid-tier biotechnology, specialty and multinational pharmaceutical companies. He is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cellectar Biosciences, Inc., an oncology company. Most recently, he served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He was previously the Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer of Allos Therapeutics, Inc., an oncology company acquired by Spectrum Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Caruso was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, at Bone Care International, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company that was acquired by Genzyme Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Caruso was Vice President of Neuroscience Specialty Sales at Novartis, a pharmaceutical company. He served as Vice President, Sales, of BASF Pharmaceuticals-Knoll, a pharmaceutical company that was acquired by Abbott Corporation. For 12 years, Mr. Caruso held various commercial-focused positions, including senior management roles, at Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, a pharmaceutical company. Mr. Caruso earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nevada in 1988.

Samir Termanini

Samir Termanini is currently a member of the Legal Group at Creston Electronics Inc. He specializes in patent preparation, prosecution strategy and validity proceedings. He has been registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office since 2005 and has been an active member of the Connecticut Bar since 2004. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He is also admitted to practice in the Southern and Eastern District courts of New York State. Mr. Termanini is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Quinnipiac University and was awarded a Certification in Criminology from Rutgers University in 2000. He has spent 6 months working for the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit Forensic Laboratory where he received his non-civilian FBI computer intrusion crimes training. Attorney Termanini’s expertise in intellectual property law includes over 4 years of service as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office where he examined U.S. and Patent Cooperation Treaty patent applications in the Computer and Graphical User Interface arts. This work included Human User Interaction devices, Computer Graphics Processing and Selective Visual Display Systems, data processing techniques, as well as other related technologies. He has acted in over 500 USPTO Office Actions, including Board of Patent Appeals pre-appeal conferences and Examiner’s Answers to Appellant’s Appeal Briefs.

Zafer Termanini, M.D., F.A.C.S., President and Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Zafer Termanini is the company’s President and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Termanini is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery as an orthopaedic surgeon with over 30 years of experience. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also a Diplomate of the American College of Disability Analysts and the American College of Forensic Examiners, with specialties in Orthopaedic and Joint Reconstruction, Sports Medicine and Biomechanical Analysis. Dr. Termanini, inventor of the Interlocking Reverse Hip, currently holds 8 U.S. patents and 6 U.S. patent applications. Five of his patents have been sold and successfully commercialized. He has served as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery and General Surgery at East Orange General Hospital and has privileges in several New Jersey hospitals, including Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Saint Barnabas Medical Center, and Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center. He is licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Georgia. Dr. Termanini received his C.P.E.M. degree, with honors, from the College Scientifique Universitaire in Angers, France, in 1967 and his medical degree, with honors, from the Université d’Angers in Angers, France, in 1973. He also attended the prestigious school of “Arts et Métiers” where he studied Biomechanical Engineering.
